Thought for Today: Sunday March 23
Preparing for heaven is similar as going on a journey. First, you must decide that you want to go there. Next you must arrange for your ticket. But remember, you cannot buy a ticket, nor can you obtain one by just being a good person or go to church or act religious. The ticket to heaven is for free BUT also very expensive – far too expensive for any human being to afford. Lucky for us, that ticket is free – it has been paid by Yeshua and the shed of His blood. It is expensive for us because you may lose friends, family, jobs, marriage or even your life. Remember, Yeshua was kicked, slapped, spit on, lashed and even lost His life on earth. He carried billions and billions of people transgressions, sins and sicknesses to pay for your ticket.
A new Edition of The
Lawful Literal Version
LLV Bible is out now!
…a work in progress with over 70,000 improvements so far!
The whole text of LLV349 (A) thing_of man shall not be upon (a)_woman Edition:
As far as the translator is aware, every name is now spelled with the aim of accurately reflecting the correct, historical pronunciations of these historical names according to modern phonetic English-alphabet transcription, e.g. ‘y’ not ‘j’ for the sound at the start of ‘yellow’, ‘w’ not ‘v’ for the sound at the start of ‘water’. The transcriptions in the LLV are aimed to be better than those of any English translation of Scripture made so far, because they consider not only the pointings of the medieval Hebrew texts but also the older transcriptions in Greek and Latin letters.

When we hear about tithes and offerings, do we think of money, or do we think of other ways we can give to God's Kingdom work? Do we think about how our gifts will be used? How does that affect how we give, or if we give at all?

Exodus 20:12 begins, “Honor your father and mother…” This verse has been used by many parents to have their children follow their instruction, but is that may not be the context of the verse. The Hebrew word is defined this way, To be great in weight, wealth or importance and the form of the word used in this verse also means to bring honor to. Misusing this verse simply to make children behave doesn’t teach them how they are designed to live.
