The Crime of Banning 'Pornography'

36 w

Why would it be a crime against God's law to ban pornography?

Simple.

As 'pornography' is currently defined and interpreted, a woman would still be allowed to be paid to strip and pose in front of a crowd of men if she is a 'model' and they are 'artists'.

But a wife who takes a picture of herself for her husband solely for erotic reasons would be penalised. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Such unequal scales in life. 😫

Science follows the same pattern of belief as religion and yet only one is supported by government...

I have mixed feelings... On the one side I am glad for the snail, on the other I am glad it's not hiding in my garden. 😶

I remember snails in California, and how gross it was when you accidentally stepped on one. 🥴

There are different Hebrew words used for sacrificial offerings. E.g. Korban (draw near), hints at its ability to enable our approach to God. Olah "elevation" is a burnt offering. The smoke rises to heaven and draws our spirits with it.

Vayikra: Approaching God - American Torah

Leviticus (Vayikra in Hebrew) gets a bad rap. It’s usually dismissed by preachers and Sunday school teachers alike as tedious and irrelevant, full of blood and obsolete rules. But God doesn’t waste words. Vayikra begins with a series of w

God's first act on moving into the Mishkan (aka Tabernacle) was to explain the five sacrifices (Leviticus 1-6).

They are important. Even if we don't or can't do them, we can't ignore them.

The first three offerings of the five are voluntary. The last two are mandatory. None of them were ever capable of granting eternal salvation. That wasn't why God instituted them.

There are a few kinds of sacrifices that aren't usually counted with the main five in Leviticus 1-6, but they are each related to one of the main five:
1) Red Heifer (burnt offering)
2) Firstfruits (grain offering)
3) Passover (peace offering)

Good Morning Y’all 👋

I need a breakthrough in something that I firmly believe God wants for my family. If y’all can remember us in your prayers, I would be grateful. 😊
