We have been studying the Torah portions with a New Covenant context this year. Today's was remarkable because of the direct parallels between Moses and Yeshua and the real goal of the Gospel. I've been busy sharing some deeper information about the last days on http://MessianicWorld.com I don't post much anymore on social sites owned by the world. I either post here or on my own site. Recently I was searching for more Torah sites to put on my new directory also. We don't have a lot of time before Messiah comes and I want to help fellow believers get the word out more.
There are altering views on this and at the time I wrote this article I had hoped it would clear up the debate on this. One of my sources is Nehemia Gordon who knows Hebrew much better than I do.

I went to a private, Sabbath keeping high school during my last 3 years of high school. I remember one of the teachers saying that Sabbath is not a day of slumber. Of course, he was only about 30 years old, he didn't work a physical job and so I wondered, what would be his viewpoint once he reached 70 years old? ???

Some atheists are unfortunate enough to make the following kind of objection to theism:
"Sticks don't turn into snakes!" (And so forth, listing various miracles in derogatory terms.)
A serious error common to modern atheism is to claim cool objective reason, while redefining "reason" as meaningless hoots, snorts, and jeers.
No Christian believes that "sticks turn into snakes", the point is that it was a miracle. If sticks could randomly turn into snakes from time to time, it would not have shown the hand of the Creator for Moses' stick to become a snake.
The rules show that God is, the exceptions show who God is.
The natural proves the existence of God, the supernatural proves the identity of God.
It is the idiot who claims that "footprints just happen", the reasoning being sees that obviously someone stepped right there.
